MK SYSTEM / DOCUMENTATION
YT Sheet
YT Sheet Grid is the optional video library component of the MK system. It can build reusable datasets from feeds, WordPress content, a watched meta field, and supported YouTube or Vimeo collections. A saved Profile controls how a dataset appears in a grid.
Start here
- Create your first video grid: publish a Feed Source, build it, create a Profile and place its shortcode.
- Settings and API credentials: every current Basic and Advanced Settings control, including default feed, player, provider keys and cache tools.
- Sources and the build workflow: choose among seven source types, save before building and read cache status.
- Feed Source: enter or upload a CSV/JSON feed, set its format and build its dataset.
- WP Source: map WordPress posts, video URLs, thumbnails, extra fields and taxonomy filters.
- Meta Field Source: watch one post’s feed URL field.
- YouTube Playlist and YouTube Channel: configure provider access and build public collections.
- Vimeo Channel and Vimeo Showcase: build public Vimeo collections.
- Profiles: Basic: choose a Source, layout, player, pagination and filters.
- Profiles: Advanced: YouTube key choice, diagnostics, age and region behavior.
- Shortcode Generator: build a one-off grid shortcode without Elementor.
- Video Overrides: change a video’s title or thumbnail, hide it, and manage rules by Source.
- Source Analytics: inspect built Feed and WP Sources for unavailable, restricted or non-embeddable videos.
- Import / Export: move global YT Sheet settings in JSON, with an optional credential export.
- Elementor widget: configure source, layout, paging, search, schema and style inside Elementor.
Settings backup
YT Sheet → Import / Export moves global plugin settings. API credentials are excluded from a normal export unless you explicitly include them. Sources, profiles, video overrides, cached results and media are separate records and are not included in that settings file. Keep a full WordPress backup when moving a complete video library. See the YT Sheet transfer guide and Import & export for the combined MK Studio package.
