YT Sheet Profiles: Advanced
YT Sheet advanced profiles control optional YouTube checks and the handling of age-restricted or region-limited videos.
Location: WordPress admin → YT Sheet → edit a Profile → Profile Settings → Advanced. This tab controls optional YouTube checks and what happens with age-restricted or region-limited videos. It saves independently from Basic.
YouTube API and diagnostics

| API key source | Use the global key saved at YT Sheet → Settings → Advanced Settings, or Enter another key for this Profile. An empty Profile key falls back to the global key. The global YouTube API feature switch must be enabled for its optional checks. |
| YouTube source diagnostics | Reads the selected My Source’s last built cache. It shows total, non-YouTube and YouTube items, OK, age-restricted, non-embeddable and unavailable counts, plus last build time. Opening this section does not call YouTube. When available, an Unavailable videos list shows titles, URLs and post links. |
Age-restricted videos
On click offers Open original video on YouTube (initial choice), Open post permalink or Disable click. If a permalink is selected but missing, the action falls back to the original YouTube video.
Country availability filter

Visibility rules
| Control | Effect |

| Region rule | Off: show all, Hide videos blocked in selected countries, or Require availability in all selected countries. This is a server-side filter: excluded items are not rendered. |
| Rule countries | Comma-separated ISO codes required when Region rule is active. |
| Unknown region | Show: treat as available (initial choice), or Hide: treat as blocked when a YouTube item has no region data. |
These controls apply to YouTube items with region data; they do not establish rights to show a video. A source’s cached status may be stale until rebuilt. Test the actual visitor experience with the final provider data before relying on country filtering.
Vimeo information
When the Profile selects a Vimeo Channel or Showcase My Source, the YouTube-only sections are hidden. The Advanced tab instead shows read-only details from the selected Source build: name, slug or ID, cached item count versus total, privacy and last build. An unbuilt Source displays a prompt to run Build. A nonpublic privacy value is flagged because visitors may not be able to load the grid.
