The Framepress FAQ answers common questions about setup, companion plugins, video playback and settings migration.
Short answers to the questions that most often come up during setup.
Is YT Sheet required?
No. It is an optional video source and grid tool. MK Theme and the movie video checks can work without it when their needed settings and credentials are configured.
Why is a movie listed more than once in Check Video?
The table uses one row for each distinct supported video. A movie can have a manual Watch URL, a MovieKit trailer and a teaser. Repeated fields for the same video are grouped into one row.
Why does an age-restricted trailer open YouTube?
YouTube age-restricted content may refuse embedded playback. When the YouTube check confirms this status, the movie Play action opens the YouTube watch page in a new tab.
Why is there no country result for a Vimeo video?
The basic public Vimeo check does not provide a reliable regional list. The system does not guess.
Why are profiles missing from my YT Sheet settings export?
Profiles and sources are separate records. Current settings export covers global options only. Use a full WordPress migration for the complete library.
Did Review import file already change my site?
No. Review validates and describes the package first. The import happens only after you choose what to apply and confirm it.
Where do I edit a movie?
Use the WordPress movie edit screen with MovieKit fields. The separate MK Movie Editor was retired.
