Article SEO in the Post editor
Location: Posts → Edit Post → Article AI → SEO. Reference for MK Studio 0.7.300 and MK Theme 0.3.268.
Article SEO uses the saved ordinary Post: its topic, angle, headings, excerpt, categories and tags. Mentioning a film does not make the article a movie synopsis. Article SEO Fine Tuning is independent of Movie SEO.
Instruction → preview → save
- Save pending article and native SEO-panel changes in WordPress first.
- Open Article AI and select Article SEO.
- Choose one field: SEO title, meta description or primary focus keyphrase.
- Describe what that field should communicate, then Generate preview.
- Read/edit the proposal. Refresh preview after manual edits does not call AI.
- Confirm replacement when required and Save SEO.
- Reload editor before continuing to edit the Post.
The private comparison includes the previous value, character count and illustrative search snippet. Search engines may display different text.
Separate save and undo
Save SEO writes only the selected metadata field; it does not rewrite article content. Undo saved SEO restores the prior value if the source and SEO state have not changed. Additional Rank Math keyphrases remain preserved. After Save or Undo, reload so stale native plugin fields cannot overwrite the saved value. WordPress saving is paused until this reload.
Requirements
Use exactly one active supported Yoast or Rank Math plugin. Conflicting plugins, an editor lock or unsupported metadata may produce a read-only explanation. Values are plain text: SEO title up to 90, description up to 220 and primary phrase up to 80 Unicode characters. Restore an empty/default value through the native SEO panel.
