MK Studio Import / Export

Location: MK Studio → Import / Export. Reference for MK Studio 0.7.300 and MK Theme 0.3.268.

This transfers selected settings, not a complete WordPress site. Use a database/files backup tool for site migration, media, posts and users.

Export settings

Choose the supported MK Theme, MovieKit or optional YT Sheet settings to include. Review any choice that includes API credentials before sharing the file. Keep an export of the destination’s current settings before importing a replacement.

Import settings

  1. Upload the settings package on the destination site.
  2. Review the preview and the selected components.
  3. Apply only the settings you intend to replace.
  4. Open those Studio sections and check the visitor pages afterward.

Theme-only export/import remains separate from the combined package. An imported setting cannot install a missing component or create movie records and media. See the transfer reference for the supported scope.
