MK Studio Video
Location: MK Studio → Video. Reference for MK Studio 0.7.300 and MK Theme 0.3.268.
Video tools use existing source URLs. Playback, finding a source and checking its availability are different tasks; a saved URL alone does not guarantee that the provider allows embedding.
Media Grabber
Open the Media Grabber tab, enable the resolver if needed, and choose the source priority. If that source uses a custom field, select its registered video meta key. Save Video Settings. The current-post or explicit-post shortcode examples identify which post supplies the video. The caller decides where the resolved video appears; saving this screen does not insert a player into every page.
Check Video
Open Check Video to inspect supported movie video sources. Check the selected movie/source and read the returned status before changing its URL or visibility. Provider availability, country limits and age restrictions may affect playback independently of the saved field.
YouTube checking uses the key saved in Integrations; YT Sheet is optional. A key configured by the server takes priority. Basic Vimeo checking does not require the token used for YT Sheet Vimeo sources.
When playback differs
Open the source at its provider, check its embed permission, then inspect the movie’s video mode and URL/embed priority. A direct file must be reachable by the visitor. Refer to supported sources and Iframely and video availability.
